Goldenrod Crab Spider (Misumena vatia)

Regular price $28.00 Sale

These spiders change their body colour from white to yellow to blend in with the type of flower they are on. They don't use webs to trap prey - only the female spider spins webs and that's to hold eggs. It often wraps a leaf over the eggs and then spins webbing to secure and hide them.

Open edition pigment ink print on archival quality paper (310gsm). Signed and dated.

This print comes unframed (framed photo is for reference only).
